Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre provides early childhood and key stage one education for children aged two to seven in a suburban area in the east of Luton. We are a popular, high-achieving and values-based school where everything we do is centred on helping every child succeed.

At Someries, we want children to feel excited about coming to school each day. Our engaging and purposeful learning opportunities encourage children to explore ideas, develop independence and share their thoughts with confidence and respect. Our mission is to provide exceptional Early Childhood and Key Stage One education by placing every child at the heart of everything we do.
We create a nurturing environment where children feel valued, supported and inspired to achieve their best. Our carefully planned curriculum builds essential knowledge, strengthens character and supports emotional wellbeing, recognising that every child’s learning journey is unique.
In addition to our mainstream provision, we are proud to host three Special Educational Needs Units that support pupils with complex and severe learning difficulties. These specialist classes enable us to provide highly personalised care, teaching and support so that every child can thrive in an inclusive and supportive environment.
Working closely with families and the wider community, our dedicated staff ensure that children feel confident, included and ready to embrace new challenges with resilience and empathy.

At Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre, we are committed to providing every child with a strong start to their educational journey.
We are a standalone Foundation School and share our campus with Someries Junior School.
We work hard to maintain seamless links with other local schools and nurseries to enable children to progress seamlessly through each stage of their education.
