Outdoor and Adventurous Activity

As part of our Life and physical education curricula, pupils benefit from opportunities to develop fundamental movement skills and competence to excel in a broader range of physical activities through accessing Outdoor and Adventurous Activity. As part of a physically active approach to learning, pupils engage in activities designed to extend their agility, balance and coordination, individually and with others.

These activities will make use of the school’s extensive outdoor learning environment and will include, but are not limited to:

Obstacle courses

Team building games

Orienteering

Developing Knowledge of trees, animals, natural materials and how to care for the environment

Archery

Scavenger hunts

Shelter building

Creating trails

Creating Art using natural materials

Outdoor cooking
