School lunches

Our catering provision is managed by Aspens Services Ltd. who provide healthy and tasty meals to our pupils on a daily basis.

We give careful thought to our ongoing menu to take account of seasonal produce to provide delicious lunches. Most families take up the option of a warm nutritious lunch for their child on a daily basis.

Our school meals are provided by Aspens Services Ltd., who prepare a range of healthy, nutritious and appetising lunches each day. Menus are carefully planned to make the best use of seasonal produce, ensuring pupils enjoy fresh, balanced meals throughout the year. The majority of our pupils choose to have a hot school meal each day.

A selection of hot and cold options is available, including meat and vegetarian dishes, freshly prepared sandwiches and rolls, and jacket potatoes. Pupils also have access to a daily salad bar and freshly baked bread. A choice of desserts, including fresh fruit and yoghurt, is provided each day, and menus can be adapted to meet a range of medically prescribed special dietary requirements. Although we do not serve pork or pork products, we do not offer a Halal menu.

All pupils in Reception, Year One and Year Two are entitled to a free school meal as part of the Government’s Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme.

Nursery pupils are required to pay for school meals. Payments can be made quickly and easily through Arbor on a weekly basis. Parents and carers will receive an Arbor account when their child joins the school.

We operate a three-weekly lunch menu cycle.
