Outdoor and Adventurous Activities

As part of our Life and Physical Education curricula, pupils benefit from opportunities to develop fundamental movement skills and the competence to excel in a broader range of physical activities through participation in Outdoor and Adventurous Activities. As part of a physically active approach to learning, pupils engage in activities designed to extend their agility, balance and coordination, both individually and with others.

These activities make use of the school’s extensive outdoor learning environment and include, but are not limited to, obstacle courses, team-building games, orienteering, developing knowledge of trees, animals, natural materials and how to care for the environment, archery, scavenger hunts, shelter building, creating trails, creating art using natural materials, and outdoor cooking.
