Our uniform is an important part of our school identity and we expect parents and carers to support our high expectations
Someries Nursery uniform
Branded items that are required
Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre branded sweatshirt or cardigan (for all pupils attending Someries Nursery)
Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre book folder (for 3-year-olds only)
Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre ‘Bacpac’ (for all pupils attending Someries Nursery)
Other nursery uniform items
These are all non-branded items
Grey or black trousers, tunic or skirt or jogging bottoms
Plain polo shirt or t-shirt
Water bottle
Red and white gingham dress
Grey or black shorts
Spare clothing
We appreciate it if all pupils attending our nursery have a spare set of clothing (including underwear) available at nursery.
This spare clothing is stored in your child’s Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre ‘Bacpac’ and should be available from their first day at nursery.
Waterproof clothing
The school provides waterproof clothing and wellington boots for all pupils.
Parents and carers are not required to provide these.
Expectations for jewellery and hairstyles
No jewellery is to be worn in nursery.
Long hair must be tied back at all times. We do not permit extreme hairstyles, dyed, gelled, spiked hair or hair with patterns or lines shaved in.
Expectations for shoes, bags and coats
Pupils attending Someries Nursery should wear shoes or trainers that are strong, safe, practical and sensible. Shoes should be appropriate for all weathers.
High-heeled shoes or boots are not acceptable or appropriate for nursery. Similarly, open-toed sandals, slip-on shoes and ballet pumps are inappropriate as they leave feet unprotected.
All children should have an appropriate coat in nursery on a daily basis.
Children are not permitted to bring rucksacks, handbags or satchels to nursery, and only Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre book folders and ‘Bacpacs’ are acceptable.

All branded items deemed required by the school can be purchased from our online uniform store which is hosted by our approved third-party uniform supplier. You can order these items using the link below.

Provision of second-hand uniform
Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre works in partnership with Level Trust to provide free of charge second-hand uniform items to families.
