Attendance

At Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre, we firmly believe that regular school attendance is essential for the educational progress and overall wellbeing of our pupils.

Our Attendance Policy aims to show our commitment to meeting our obligations with regards to school attendance, including those laid out in the Department for Education’s (DfE’s) statutory guidance on working together to improve school attendance.

We have also produced an Attendance Policy Summary to help parents and carers keep in mind the key aspects of our Attendance Policy.
