Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre is recognised as an Outstanding school by Ofsted.

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They report directly to Parliament and are independent and impartial. They inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre’s most recent inspection took place in February 2017 in which it received Outstanding judgements in all areas.

Someries Infant School was visited by Ofsted in December 2020 under section 8 of the Education Act (2005) (as amended) and in accordance with Ofsted’s published procedures for visiting schools whilst routine inspections were temporarily suspended as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
