We employ a qualified speech and langauge therapist who works in our school to work with pupils who require additional support to meet their unique speech, language and communication needs.
All pupils who attend our school are able to receive support from our speech and language therapist, but permission is need from parents and carers before an initial assessment can take place. If you feel that your child would benefit from receiving speech and language therapy at school, please make an appointment to meet with our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator – Mrs Nicholson – via our School Office.
As well as attending speech and language therapy session in school, parents and carers can also make use of local NHS speech and language support services. Further details of your local NHS services can be found here.
