Embedding an effective early childhood education curriculum: Introducing ‘Being Me’
The learning environment in the early years is exceptional. All staff share the same high ambitions for what children can achieve. Leaders’ carefully constructed curriculum ensures that adults plan purposeful learning activities. Every learning opportunity captures children’s interest and inspires them. This helps children try hard consistently, even when they find things difficult. Staff develop children’s communication and language skills through carefully planned learning opportunities.

Explore ‘Being Me’: A Unique Approach to Early Childhood Education
This engaging training package offers participants an inspiring introduction to our bespoke early childhood education curriculum model, ‘Being Me’—a child-centred, thoughtfully designed framework that nurtures curiosity, independence and meaningful learning from the very start.
During the session, participants will deepen their understanding of how ‘Being Me’ supports effective assessment strategies that make a real difference to pupil progress. We’ll also explore practical, research-informed approaches that ensure rich curriculum coverage and emphasise the importance of a responsive, child-led learning environment.
To bring the curriculum to life, a guided learning walk through our Early Childhood Education Centre will give participants the chance to see ‘Being Me’ in action—offering valuable insight into how our principles translate into purposeful daily practice.
Participants will receive a downloadable version of ‘Being Me’, along with our full suite of Early Childhood Education Curriculum Milestone documents, to support implementation and development within their own settings.
